Teaching Applied Strategic AI at MICA

Institutions needed AI education that wasn't already obsolete. MICA brought me in to design curriculum for their MBA program. I teach strategic governance of AI and not just tool tutorials. Practitioner-led. Market-relevant. Built to evolve.

Most AI education has a shelf-life problem. By the time it's approved, designed, and delivered, the market has moved. Students learn tools that are already commoditized and miss the deeper skill: how to govern AI strategically.

This was the insight I brought to MICA. I don't teach "Best tools for X task". I prepare students to architect and govern AI systems in a market that won't stop evolving.

The curriculum I designed focuses on Applied Strategic AI: understanding business logic, designing governance frameworks, and building judgment about when and how to deploy autonomous systems. The tools will change. The strategic thinking won't.

And because I'm actively building at the frontier, the material stays current. It is pedagogy informed by practice.
